Reiki is universal (Rei) life force (Ki). The laws of the universe seek to restore its natural state of perfection where life force energy flows freely. Reiki flows from practitioner to cli-ent as the practitioner gently places their hands on the body. This energy helps to remove energetic blocks and encourages the natural flow of energy.

Therapeutic Touch
What is it?
TT is an energy field modality in which the practitioner uses the hands as a focus to facilitate the healing process. The intent is to enable the person to re-pattern their energy field toward wholeness and health, enhancing the client's own ability to heal.
Common Effects
• Eliciting the relaxation response and reducing stress and anxiety
• Changing the perception of pain
• Facilitating the body's natural restorative processes
• Therapeutic Touch has a continuing base of research to support its effectiveness, and as a result is being practiced and taught at numerous universities and colleges in Canada. It is used in a number of Ontario hospitals, clinics and hospices.
Sessions are approximately 20 minutes in length.
